Cinema is not only an art form but also an industry and a political tool. By constructing narratives and influencing the collective imagination, it shapes our worldview. In today’s democracies, marked by ideological and geopolitical tensions, cinema becomes a strategic space where propaganda, cultural diplomacy, and social critique intersect.
Nashidil Rouiaï, PhD in Cultural and Political Geography. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bordeaux and a researcher at UMR 5319 Passages – CNRS, specializing in the impact of cinema on the political and cultural influence of nations.
